I'm Jade, a registered childminder working from my home in Pembroke Dock since 2025. I live with Bon-bon, my gentle indoor cat who spends her time following me around or sleeping in her cat tree. I love pottery, cooking, baking, reading and gardening, and I enjoy sharing these with the children. We create bug hotels, make Christmas ornaments, tend plants and grow our own food, herbs and flowers in the garden. The children play in a garden area designed for them, where we learn about supporting the natural environment and caring for the frogs in our pond. Inside, my open plan dining and living room has a cosy play area with toys for stories, dressing up, building dens, painting, cars and dinosaurs. We eat home cooked meals together around the dining table. Our routine usually starts with breakfast, then a trip out to the park, library, local woodlands, Pembroke Castle or Tenby beach. Lunch is at home or as a picnic when we can. Afternoons include structured activities or free play, then dinner and story time. I use the Kinderstart app so you can see what your child has been doing, what they've eaten, and share comments with me.

We visit Pembroke Castle, local parks, the library, playgroups and Tenby beach to give the children experiences of their local area.
