A Little About Me ❤️ Hi, I’m Karen, and welcome to Karen Reed Childminding! My childminding journey began around 17 years ago when my own daughters were little, as I wanted to be at home with them while they were growing up. After a few years, life took me back to full-time work, but nearly four years ago I returned to childminding — and I couldn’t be happier! As a mum myself, I understand just how precious your little ones are and how important it is to know they’re happy, safe and cared for. I absolutely love watching children grow, learn and develop their own little personalities, celebrating their achievements and helping them explore the world around them. I’ve successfully raised my two girls (and somehow managed to keep them alive despite their best efforts! 🤣), so I’ve had plenty of experience with the wonderful chaos that comes with family life! For me, childminding is so much more than childcare. It’s about creating a warm, welcoming home-from-home where little ones feel loved, secure and confident to be themselves. I feel incredibly lucky to do a job I genuinely love, and I’d love to welcome your little one into our little setting. 💕
