My Ethos and Visions I aim to provide a warm, nurturing, and safe "home-from-home" environment where all the children in my care feel valued and respected. I model kindness in my setting, encouraging empathy and compassion in all interactions. I believe, at my core, that “it’s nice to be nice” and encourage a similar mindset in others to foster supportive relationships. I promote the development of each child through playful exploration, building positive and secure relationships, and supporting their health and well-being. I also actively partner with families, fostering open and honest communication, to support their child’s unique learning journey. Children are at the centre of everything I do, and I prioritise their needs, interests, and abilities. I offer a wide range of activities each day, adapted to individual needs and capabilities—activities such as (but not limited to) reading, singing and dancing, arts and crafts, and roleplay. I encourage children to embrace their curiosity, explore their environment, ask questions, and follow their interests through open-ended play.
