Finding recipes from other childminders
Browse recipes other childminders have shared, filter for allergies, and save a copy to your own library.

Childminders across KinderStart share the recipes their children love. Find one that suits your children and save your own copy to plan with.
1. Open the community recipes
Open the Tools tab, choose Menu Planner, and tap the book icon to open your Meal Library. Then tap the community icon at the top.
2. Filter for your children's needs
Tap Filters. Choose Free from options, like dairy or gluten, pick a budget, and choose how to sort. Tap Show recipes.
3. Search
Type in Search community recipes..., for example an ingredient you want to use up. You can also tap a category, like lunch or snacks.
4. Check the recipe
Tap a recipe to see its description, ingredients, allergens and method. Tap the heart to like it, which helps other childminders find the best ones.
5. Save it to your library
Tap Save to My Library. The copy is yours: change the ingredients, cost or method to suit your setting, and plan it like any other recipe. Choose View in My Library to see it, or Keep Browsing.
⚠️Check the allergens yourself
Recipes are written by other childminders. Before you serve one, check the ingredients and allergens against your own children's needs. If a recipe looks wrong or unsafe, tap the flag to report it.
