KinderStart User Guide: Buying KinderAssist AI Credits

KinderAssist uses advanced AI to speed up daily observations, EYFS assessment polishing, activity planning, and progress checking. KinderStart plans include a generous monthly allowance of standard AI credits that reset on the 1st of every month.

If you run out of credits before the month ends, you can top up your balance immediately with non-expiring Booster Packs.

Booster Pack Packages

We offer four scaling options to suit your setting's usage:

  • Small Booster: 150,000 tokens for £3.59
  • Medium Booster: 450,000 tokens for £8.39 (Best Value)
  • Large Booster: 1,125,000 tokens for £17.99
  • XL Booster: 2,250,000 tokens for £29.99

💡Booster Credit Usage Rules

  1. Never Expire: Booster credits do not expire at the end of the month. They roll over indefinitely.
  2. Monthly Allowance Priority: The app automatically consumes your standard monthly allowance first. Booster credits are only used after your monthly allowance is completely exhausted.
  3. Setting Shared: Booster credits are pooled and shared across all co-childminder and assistant accounts in your setting.

How to Purchase Booster Credits

To purchase a booster pack directly within the app:

  1. Tap the Tools tab in the bottom navigation.
  2. Scroll down and tap Business Settings.
  3. Tap AI Settings.
  4. Under the Assist Credits usage bar, tap the Buy Booster Credits button.
  5. Select your preferred booster pack and tap Buy Now.
  6. Complete the transaction securely using your App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Google) credentials.

Troubleshooting Purchases

If your booster credits do not appear immediately after purchase:

  1. Return to AI Settings and verify the total available balance.
  2. If the balance has not updated, close and reopen the app to force a sync with your app store purchases.
  3. For any issues, contact customer support via the Help Centre.
