See how the Activity Feed keeps you in the loop with real-time updates, photos, and moments from your child's day.
The Activity Feed is the first thing you'll see when you open the KinderStart Parent App — a running timeline of what's happening with your child, updated as your childminder logs it through the day.
Your feed pulls together everything your childminder records for your child in one place:
Each card shows a timestamp, so you always know how recent an update is — useful if you're checking in from work or between meetings.
Tap any card to open it in full. A meal card expands to show exactly what was offered and eaten; an observation card opens into the full photo and note, linked to the EYFS area it covers. Pull down on the feed to refresh and check for anything new.
If you have more than one child with the same childminder, use the child switcher at the top of the feed to move between their individual timelines.
You don't need to keep the app open to stay in the loop — push notifications let you know when a new update lands, so the feed is there to catch up on your own time rather than something to watch constantly.
The Activity Feed replaces the end-of-day handover chat with a running record you can look back on any time — reassurance during the day, and a proper account of your child's day when you pick them up.
