About this tracker
Three Milestone Rainbows in one download, one for each stage of the Welsh Government's Developmental pathways 0 to 3: Here I am! (birth to 1), I'm exploring! (1 to 2) and Look at me now! (2 to 3).
Each milestone rainbow has 30 stripes across the five pathways (Belonging, Communication, Exploration, Physical Development and Well-being), quoted from the “I am learning to” statements, so the words are the Welsh Government's own.
Pick the stage that fits the child, not their exact age. The pathways describe a journey, so treat the stripes as things to notice and celebrate, not a checklist.
What's inside
- Three Milestone Rainbows: birth to 1, 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, each with 30 stripes across the five Developmental Pathways

- Notice each stripe in everyday play and care routines, in English or Welsh.
- Colour the stripe when the child does it often and with confidence.
- Share it with families, and move on to the next stage's milestone rainbow when the time is right.
