Record nappy changes, sun cream and extra charges like a late pickup in a child’s diary.
Childminders and assistants who've started using the
Daily Diaryand want to record more than meals and naps. Needs the Standard plan or a free trial. Each entry takes a few seconds.
Open the Tools tab, tap Daily Diary, tap the child and sign them in. The day is a grid of cards, and each card shows what's been logged.
Tap Naps, log the nap and choose where the child slept.
Tap the bathroom card, then + Log Bathroom. Choose Nappy or Toilet, then the type, such as Wet, and save.
Tap the sun cream card, choose the SPF, and save.
Tap Charges and choose the type, such as Late Pickup or Meal / Snack. Add a description and the amount, then tap Add.
The charge is added to the child's next invoice.
Invoices use the arrival and departure times in the diary. Check every session has both before you create invoices.
Logging charges on the day means you don't have to remember them at the end of the month, and the parent can see what each one was for.
