Signing Your First Consent Form

When your childminder sends you a consent form — for outings, photography, sunscreen, or emergency medical treatment — you'll sign it digitally from the KinderStart Parent App. It takes under a minute and creates a timestamped, legally-held record for both of you.

📩 Finding a Form to Sign

1. Open the KinderStart Parent App and log in.
2. Tap the Menu (top left) on your Parent Dashboard.
3. Select Documents & Contracts.
4. The ✍️ To Sign tab shows anything waiting for your signature, with the newest requests at the top.

✍️ Reviewing & Signing

1. Tap the form to open it. Read through the terms in full — this is a legal record, not a formality.
2. Tap Sign Document.
3. Draw your signature on the signature canvas with your finger.
4. Tap Confirm & Sign.

Your signature, the exact time, and the version of the form you signed are all stored together. If your childminder ever updates a policy, they'll send a fresh form rather than editing a signed one — so your signing history stays accurate.

🔒 What Happens Next

Once signed, the form moves out of To Sign and into your document library, where you can revisit it any time. Your childminder sees the signature appear on their side immediately, so there's no chasing paper forms or waiting for the next drop-off.
