Viewing & Signing Contracts

Your childcare contract — the schedule, rates, and terms you've agreed with your childminder — is always available in the KinderStart Parent App, and any new contract or amendment is signed the same way as a consent form.

📄 Finding Your Contract

1. Tap the Menu (top left) on your Parent Dashboard.
2. Select Documents & Contracts.
3. Open the 📄 Contracts tab to see your active agreement, alongside any past versions.
4. Tap the contract to view the full terms.

📋 What's in It

A contract sets out everything that determines your invoices and your child's place:

• The regular schedule — which days and hours your child attends
• Rates — hourly or daily fees, plus any consumables charges
• Funded hours, if applicable, and how they're applied
• Notice periods and holiday terms — what happens if plans change

✍️ Signing a New Contract or Amendment

When your childminder sends a new contract — for a new schedule, an updated rate, or your child's initial enrolment — it appears in the ✍️ To Sign tab, exactly like a consent form:

1. Open the contract and read it in full.
2. Tap Sign Document.
3. Sign on the canvas and tap Confirm & Sign.

Once you've signed, your childminder is notified and the contract becomes active — you'll always be able to find the signed copy back in Contracts.
