About this tracker
The Milestone Rainbow puts the Development Matters statements for 3 and 4 year olds into the stripes of a painted rainbow, one colour for each area of learning.
Between 3 and 4, children are in their pre-school years. The Development Matters statements for 3 and 4 year olds cover longer conversations and questions, playing and taking turns with others, more independence in dressing and self-care, counting and noticing shapes, and early mark-making.
Children colour a stripe as they reach each milestone. It makes progress something they can see and be proud of, and it is a lovely keepsake when they leave your setting.

How to use it
- Print the rainbow and write the child's name.
- Notice each stripe during everyday play.
